This exhibition highlights artists who are practicing historic photographic processes in this increasingly digital age. The title is inspired by the rhetoric used in the last decades to describe photography’s certain fate at the hands of digital imaging, a familiar argument made with each technological advancement. Afterimage will feature a wide strata of photographic objects, from very traditional methods and subjects to contemporary explorations of material.
